Indian Shuttlers's took 3 of the 5 titles at the Cyprus Open Chetan Anand took the Singles title Indias ace womens dbls combo of Jwala G and Shruthi K took the WD title and, husband wife duo of Chetan and Jwala took the XD title if they can produce such results , they can justify their decision to play more international events and skip BAI's elite training camps kudos to the winners!!
Good performance by Chetan. Very impressive also the finalist from Guatamala. I also noticed an Ugandan giving the more fancied Lasmari a beating. Level of Badminton must be picking up.
This may be Chetan's swansong year. He is focussed on qualifying for the Olympics and then he will take a call. Will be intersting to see how he follows this up at the Dutch Open
