Aren´t lead tapes not the tapes which you could use to make the at different points heavier?

If you mean those tapes, I think I´ve seen some at tennistown.com. Don´t know if they work for badminton as well.

yes.. they make the racket head heavier or head lighter depends on where u put it. i need to find it as quickly as possible so i don't want to order it online.
right now i am guessing maybe i can find it in a hardware store. anyone can tell me if that works?

i will stick it to the handle. hopefully that will do the trick. :)
there are no local tennisshops that i know of where i stay. i have read in a tennis forum that some of them drill a hole in the handle from the bottom and then fill it up with silicone. maybe that might work too as the handle for my racket has a hole in it.

yes, it can be done in a such way. but it is not highly recommended.....
    1. what if, too much weight added? take out and reduce silicone?....
    2. what if, not enough weight? take out, drill again, add silicone?....
since, it will be inside the handle(no aesthetical look involve), just go to nearby hardware store and get that lead roll. cut 20mm and stick at the butt cap, try it out. not enuf? add another 10mm, try it out.... ok? take out the grip, take out the butt cap, stick it inside and put everything back together...
now, go be the scientist...... trial and error until the result is satisfactory..:D

    Good advise drifit.
Also, get a good double sided tape so the lead you put on the but cap will not fall off.

Also, mel, there is no tennis club near where you live?

i hope the lead tape would not be too thick. will then just use a replacement grip over it and no overgrip. :D

    hey drifit,

since u are from malaysia, have u ever heard of a racket brand called Eptif? it was quite popular about 15 years ago.

Don't put lead tape in that way!!! Here is one of my side story. Drifit will like this one.
Yonex supplier send me a newly strung RQiS1 for testing and ask me to report any difference from my last one with exact same spec. I tried it out and some thing is just not right. Timing was off and the ball baunced off the ball differently. I feel something different about the handle bout I can not tell why. Turned out that he put the lead tape in the handle just like that and whole experiment was just wrong.
I will not suggest you to put lead tape in your handle because it change the grip and feeling. Also, it is a pain in the @ss to change mod the weight is you put in too much or too little.
