Hello! Just want to inform all of you about badminton training in Ampang and Cheras. Venues: Sports' Planet, Ampang (the futsal stadium near Ampang Point), Tsun Jin Primary School, Kampung Pandan, Cheras (near Sekolah Sri Garden and Kampung Pandan Sports Complex) Coach: Ivan Hong Chieng Hun (current professional doubles player under the Victor banner, Chew Choon Eng's partner) Helpers: Several state/ex-state/experienced players. The available time table for training is as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 5.30-7.30p.m., Saturday: 12.30-2.30p.m., 2.00-4.00p.m. Sunday: 10a.m.-12 noon, 2-4p.m., 3-5p.m. The ratio of coaches to players is usually 1:4 depending on which group training you join (for beginners' level, ratio is usually higher. <= mostly for the younger kids or those who need to learn the basics). For the advanced/intermediate level, ratio is usually very small (sometimes just 1:2). Dedicated players from all ages ranging from beginners to advanced level are welcomed to join. One-to-one training is also available but the schedule must be arranged with the coach himself.
