My friend is selling his NS8000.
The problem was I couldn't find the serial number on the cone
Is it possible that the number has gone?

I found the shaft number was engraved :rolleyes:

How can I Identify whether it isn't counterfeit yonex
Is there any other way instead of looking at the shaft and cone number?

    thanks ;)

    Here are a few hints.

Is there a sticker covering it?
Does the Yonex logo look fine?
Do you reconize what a real NS8K looks like so you look at your friends to see if there are inconsistancies on his?

You could also provide us pictures as well.

Real serial numbers normally cant be missing, since it's not printed..it's laser engraved.Real yonex racket wont cover its serial number with sticker, unlike most fakes. So,normally,if it's real,u wont have to deal with searching the numbers. How much did he offered u?

He's referring about the date code missing, so it's possibly covered.

He said he bought it for $130.
the serial number isn't covered with any sticker. No sticker attached on the cone. It was hardly to feel the serial, as he used towel grip, and when we opened, the sticky glue is all over the cone.
it was confused me, I look at the bottom the yonex logo and color seems allrite. He offered $70 for the racket.

Sifu, you bought it your ns9000x for $50... OMG, so damm lucky.

no, it's no true, it's smichz that said maight be if you lucky.
I buy my new X on that time is about Rp. 1.500.000.- without string.
yesterday hardly beaten by opponent 15-0. What a fool.....
It's hard to adapt when your partner alway change to another one.
Yesterday was really my bad luck, partnering with someone who cannot score a point when it should be 99,99999999999% hamburger........
Never in my entire game i really really angry with my partner more than yesterday. 1st st lose 15-7, second set lose 15-0. The bad thing is he borrow my racket for those game....
So you know what happened if i clash my X with "other mine".

    :D:D:D
    Poor Sifu.
Couldn't imagine if you clash with your own racket. Double Jackpot.
Yesterday was not also my day, I was lead 20 - 12. And we didn't know what went wrong, until we lost 30 - 26.
I already felt my Pocari Sweat on hand, suddenly it disappear :(:(

Once, i've partnering with the same guy as yesterday, already lead 28-8, just 2 point more, suddenly he play like a totally crap, and got beaten by 28-30.
All is about mental and morale, when you're not calm down when do critical point or get left behind, it could be act like boomerang just like me before.
But there's always positive side even you partnering with novice player. It's makes me tired enough, drain out my stamina, play as hard to show all your potential, badminton is a sport those are all about.
With that way you'll increasing in your game better, cause you push your limit close to maximum.
Yesterday when i got beaten by 15-0, it's not so easy for them, often i kill them with my smash, but unfortunately i do that when ooponent do the serve, so it didn't score a point. Yesterday strategy is all aou attack, no defense at all since i push my partner on forward position, even when we did a defense. The poor thing is not my lost, but it's my partner. The opponent do cross court drop shot (in front) approx. 30 times, just 1 get returned by my partner, suck.... They know my strategies weakness....
Last week i do this same strategy with another opponent (w/ same partner again), and we won because they feed me alot of high clear ball.
    ooohhhh...............
Now let's get back to the topic.
When will you attach the photo?
But my advice is, when you're not really sure that fake or not, better not to buy even 1/4 price.
Alot other brand like astec doing a good job and better strength material, with far cheaper price IMO.

Double jackpot? He already broke other player's racket with mine (that he borrowed from me).
I just don't want me to be the next one, since he didn't do any replacement before.

jackpot is the term I normally use if we had a trouble/problem/bad luck.
So if you clash your own rackets it will be a double jackpot.

Sorry couldn't put the picture, he didn't show up yesterday in court.

thanks guy, I think I will not buy it since I have bought Ti-10 just recently.
    Old model, 99% condition, $55.
I have check the serial and cone number at BC and it's genuine yonex.

Normally,i would never use my expensive rackets to play doubles in china, since none of them uses those as well.Esp when my partner is not so good.
