I'm trying to find some durable, feather shuttles in the UK that aren't Yonex, they're ok just seem overpriced for how long they last.

Ideally would like Aeroplane Blacks or Reds unless anyone has any other suggestions/recommendations????

    Regards

Thanks I'll give it a go, seems in the UK it's either Yonex or Carlton in most stores, would just like to try something different that lasts a bit longer than a set!

I used Tronex yellow in a match at the weekend - I could not recommend them at all, they were OK to play with, but they barely lasted more than 1-2 rallies. We went through triple the quantity - and swore we would never buy them for our own club.

I have regularly used Karakal Gold shuttles - and like them a lot. They are quite durable and fly well. Also used Forza 80 (they are OK durable wise), but much prefer the Karakal Gold - and they are also cheaper! bonus. I'm not sure where you get them in the UK... but I can give you a contact in Belgium! - perhaps not so helpful ;), but they may be able to put you in touch with a UK distributor.

http://www.centralsports.co.uk has a good range, but they seem expensive compared to Belgium prices. I haven't bought shuttles in UK for a long time, so I can't say if they are expensive compared to the specialist badminton shops.

I had a look at www.karakal.com which has a contact page with (UK) Tel: 0117 9829004. Alternatively, the phonenumber of Karakal Belgium is +32 485 676 157 (GSM). His name is Bavo Nijs. He should be able to give you a UK contact.

If that doesn't work, I buy my rackets & shuttles from Ron's racket shop www.ronsracketshop.be its best to email him (English is OK) and ask him for a price incl P&P, and if he'll ship to UK.
