    Re: Initial Cost?

i'm called limton.. i know it's hard to pronounce of remember but once you do, it's hard to forget! =P

ok, basically, when i first got the racket, i got it for $160+15(string)+5(grip)= $180
and that is on monday (6-8-01) ! and recently, on sat (11-8-01) i changed to a thicker grip ($2.50) and changed string ($14)...

All in all, i have spent $196.50!!!

budi, ... $100??? DREAM ON MAN!!! DREAM ON!!!!
you, as a SX owner and as someone who has personally inspected the racquet, should know better... hey, you are willing to for out $230 just for your SX!!!

no offence man... but i really think $100 bucks is plain crazy! it's like just spending 96 bucks in 6 days!

    what do you guys think?

    Re: Initial Cost?

I think these are the prices that people give you for a 2nd hand racket regardless of the condition and how much you've spent on it......

btw i knew your name was Limton, just being your fellow....................

    Re: Initial Cost?

    Well,

usually for second market of all sports equipment, its 'half-price' regardless of condition. Unless of course the other party is totally convinced of its value. Like say its a collectors item.

For bicycles its even worse. If you can get it sold for about 40% of its originasl price after using it for a year, you a damn good salesman !

    Re: Initial Cost?

4 me, i wouldn't sell it at half price unless the racket is really half of the quality that it initially was. I would never sell a brand new racket for half price. But then again, thats the way life goes........
