My friend ask me, is there any yonex racket w/ IP or IN code? He bought AT-900 technique with IP code, cover by sunrise gold sticker. The seller said it was the code for Indonesia, but the funny things there's no PBSI logo on the cone. Sorry, can't provide with photo..:crying: Fake or not? Thanks for the help..
never seen IN, but IP exists, and we can't determine if your racquet is real or not based on that alone.
I've got a IP coded Ti-10 which also doesn't have the PBSI logo on the cone. I got it from Luxis in HK, so I am pretty sure mine's a genuine racket. But as chickenpoodle said, we can't identify whether the racket is fake by the country code alone..
I wonder why IP code doesn't have PBSI logo, even SP code have PBSI logo on the cone. Is it true IP/IN code is code for Indonesia?
I also owned 1 pc of IP coded old version 3u Ti-10 and of course the PBSI logo is there. I use to have 2 but 1 of them suffer a crash 2 months ago and gone.
His IP racket has no PBSI logo, weird.... He also has MA coded (he said for Malaysia) with Sunrise gold sticker but again without PBSI logo.

only 1 way to know it is genuine or not, Try to detached the sunrise sticker( if only the transparant detached and the hologram still in the cone,it is genuine.if all of the sticker detached it is a fake one. try it,iy always works
uh, i wouldnt' say that to be a 100% sure fire way. its just one more of the possibilities. i've removed more than my share of "unremovable" stickers. its not always possible, but for some of those sunrise stickers, i've removed successfully. without blowdrying or other heating methods to soften the glue, either. at one point i owned a cab21 (ip code) with a pbsi logo, but a friend also had a cab21 (also ip code) but without a pbsi logo. so i wouldn't know why some do and some don't have the logo's.
I just bought a AT900Technique with an IP country code and no PBSI sticker. I thought it was a bit suspicious but if others confirm that they have the same experience, then I'm a bit relieved.
I don't know about this, all PBSI things, The fake product already penetrate the market like an epidemic. Even in my area, you can identified some of fake yonex factory. Just talk to the salesperson, what model you wanna? In 3 days you'll get identical yonex model. 99,99% identical, maybe just different material with the original. Price? Price is about 5% of original price. Crazy.............
Yeah..I've seen some. Appearance-wise, they (the fakes) are identical with the genuine ones. One way to find out whether it's genuine or not is simply by holding it. Take a grip and swing it. Any player should know easily. By the way, I'm still curious about this PBSI logo kind of thing..I've seen some AT900T/P without PBSI logo. But the seller guarantees the genuineness. The seller also claims the product is SP-coded instead of IP. I can't figure the code out since it's hidden under the shinny sticker. However, I'm pretty sure they are IP-coded instead of SP
