I was practicing against a wall with an old carbonex 9 with BG-68Ti at 20lbs, it was strung the year before, so I thought the tension would have dropped. Somehow the funny thing is it felt really hard, as if the tension raised. I noticed it because after hitting for 10 minutes or so my wrist hurt. Anyone know what is going on?

if you have not used the racket for a year, then the most likely reason is that the strings have hardened
