I too will be in Taiwan early May and would love to play a game or two. I'm not (ahem...) anywhere near ranked 20th in UK, but am a reasonable club player.

This place is cool.... very similiar to Saturn club in Bangkok, but with more goodies. The courts are in superb condition... Will be returning to play tonight.... highly recommended....

I don't read Chinese either so I never really visited badmintonrepublic.com. I recently moved to Taipei from Hsinchu, Taiwan, and although I play badminton regularly at some places, I am looking to play at a slightly more competitive level, meet new people, etc.

On a slightly unrelated topic... I do have slightly used Yonex rackets I'm looking to sell pretty cheaply (Arc-Z 3000nt, Arc 900P 2500nt)... so let me know if interested :O

I think Taipei's badminton hot time is either in the morning or in the evening. You can also find some groups who play in the afternoon, but there aren't too many of them...
