    1. Do you like tacky or smooth grips?
    Tacky.

    2. Do you like hard or soft grips?
    Soft.

    3. Do you know what overgrip is, if not then think about it ;P
No I do not know what an overgrip is.

    4. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
    Both.

    5. Do you sweat a lot?
    Yes.

    1. How often do you play, how serious are you?
3 days a week playing very hard and long.

    2. What style of player are you? (Aggressive smasher, net player ...)
Defensive and Aggressive. I don't play at net much.

    3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?
Both are equally important to me.

    4. How much money do you want to spend?
    Not an issue.

Please don't use abbreviations, I'm not a brand expert so I can't understand if you say Cab something...

    Hi Slim,
A quick crash course. 1) usually the original grip come with the racquet are not too tacky or they wear out over time. So people put over grip to keep the original grip look new and keep the tackiness of the grip.
    2) There are only a few companies that is still making oval shaped badminton racquet. The major one is Yonex. Their oval shaped racquet models is Carbonex. People refer them as Cab## from the catalog number.

With that said, here are my questions.
    1) where do you live (So Cal I presume)? You might be able to fine a club or shop to demo the Yonex Carbonex model racquet.
    2) from your post, I will recommend Yonex Carbonex 30ms because your all around style and that is the latest and best oval head shaped racquet out there right now (IMHO).

goto yonex web site, they have some retailers by zip code :
    http://www.yonexusa.com/retail.cfm

There is one local retailer that is cheaper than most online shops.

Online shops charges around $10 for shipping and they add CA sales taxes if you are a CA resident as well.
