That's not serious, you need to do some small exercise do relax. And some days later you will get wll.

Yes I too think (read hope) its not serious ( Or am I using it as an excuse to avoid seeing an Ortho?) - Well after 2 weeks' rest I started playing again and this time its gone a shade further - I could not lift my arm the day after I played for 2 hrs... I tried putting a cold pack and its getting better now - I think I have a little swelling on the shoulder though.

I have the same issue...it is so hard to give up playing for a month but now i think im going to have to do it. I had x-rays done and it shows no tear in my shoulder, but the day after i play, i can barely lift my arm. I am going to rest it for at least 2 - 3 weeks and then see where it is at.

. Will do that... but do you have a pointer to what shoulder exercises would be good in the interim? ..something which can act as a catalyst?
