I just finish reading "Things you hate about badminton" and I thought it was funny. There are some bad things about badminton, but there still some good things about badminton. Good things about badminton are:

    1) When you play your hardest and you end up winning, that is one of the best feeling in badminton

    2) When people have good sportsmanship. Not all badminton players have bad sportsmanship

    3) When you have fun even if you still lose

    4) People who DO try

    5) When someone better than you, helps you

    6) When People thanked you for returning the shuttle

    7) When people complaint you for the shot you do

    8) Girls who play badminton. (Do you know whats hot? Girls who play good) :)

well that all I could think of.

The deceptive shots done by other players to throw their opponents off balance.

the sound of a smash when you just whip out all the power you got, the feeling of hitting that kind of smash, just in general when you hit a really good shot.

Badminton is an addictive sport, which makes the user feel 'high' when playing. This sport has side-effects such as, to want to continuously play the game even after you stop playing, because of its addictiveness.

Ohh I like badminton also because I can meet new people quickly, get to know them well and become friends. :D

    Things u like about badminton

    Hi,
This game allows young, teens, adults and elderly to play according to their pace. It involves so many factors: speed, stamina, agility, strength, skills, smartness, mental strength, accuracy and team work. It is really enjoying if one is able to control the game and place the shuttle to one's prefer spots and win point.;) Precise accurate placement with good techniques.:p

Adding to that, also disabled people are also able to play it. Whether it be that a person has only one leg, or they're on a wheel chair, they can play as long as they have arms.

    What badminton does for me...

I like badminton (most of all) for the fact that playing makes me feel normal and gives me the belief that I will beat the odds (again) with my crappy injury...:D
Playing badly :crying: motivates me to work harder on my game, and playing well is just reward for the effort put in :).
I've only ever played very small tournaments (at grassroots level), so (for me at least) winning isn't everything...:D

Lots of friends, and the feeling of owning somebody you've never been able to beat after tons of practise.

I like badminton simply because I used to watch it since I was a kid.
And I found it really interesting !!!

Say if I were born in US, I might like basket ball or other sports more.

I love the feeling of hitting the birdie as hard as you can whether its a clear or smash & it stays in unlike in tennis.

I love playing in leagues & winning

Most of all, I love the adrenaline rush from playing the game

    1) The smell of new strings, new racket cases, and new bags.
    2) The creativity it brings forth to mind when you are devising new strategies, new tactics, new techniques, etc. Deception, confusion, comebacks, and great hilarity and fun may occur! XD
    3) The discipline required to play.
    4) Smashing and smash returns.
    5) Adapting to all the different playing styles.
    6) Weird badminton situations where everyone is just all over the place and trying to get back in position.

    - the crisp feel of feather bird being hit back
    - the smell of newly strung racquet
    - ppl amazement when they hear I play badminton competitively (well, regional/city tournament only)
