in the words of reiko, "say what?! introduce myself?!" lol. i didn't know there was such a page for introducing self too. hmm...only a handful of filipinos here, i see. hoy! luimabas kayo diyan! probably too busy playing or watching basketball. :P still i'm glad i stumbled into this website. quite a diverse group (hey, and we all look alike, since most of us are nextdoor neighbors). i've learned a lot. i'm learning a lot. i'm ever in the reading mode though. thanks so much to everyone here. such a blessing you guys are. everyone ought to pat himself/herself on the back.
as you may have surmised, i'm from the philippines (duh). for some reason, i'm not like most guys from here because i don't like basketball that much (well, maybe i do, but i don't like watching professional teams. i prefer collegiate and international games--like countries slugging it out against each other), i love sports, especially those that have a net in the middle--table tennis, tennis, volleyball and badminton. it's badminton that i've been playing very often, however, and i've been doing it way before the craze caught up. i hope badminton's here to stay in my country--not just for showing off to peers or co-workers or business counterparts, or for social status, or for what have you. it's a sport for pete's sake! lol.
i'm also very interested in culture and languages, so please oblige me when i bug you about certain vernacular words and expressions.
