Maria Febe Kusumastuti has beaten the top-seed Petya Nedeltcheva 21-11, 21-16. A good job by her in qualifying for the Quarter-Final tomorrow. She will probably face Kanako Yonekura.

Go Rian-Yoke... Yeah, I think it is to be expected that they destroyed the Austrian pair. Save some energy for the next round...

They should have no problems in advancing to the QF. Rendra/Fran might be slightly troubled with Beres/Milroy.
As for the QF, Rendra/Fran might go out, facing Boe/Mogensen. As for Rian/Yoke, they might face a tricky tie against the Russian second-seed, Durkin/Nikolaenko, then Hopp/Kindervater in the SF. Interestingly, they have beaten their likely opponents for QF and SF in the Dutch Open. So, by right, they should advance to the Final, facing either Boe/Mogensen or Bach/Malaythong Khan.

Japan has a realistic chance to put 3 seminalist tomorrow. Plus one German, I think...
Wow, a reunion of the World War II Axis powers in WS...
Too bad the local favorite, Agnese Allegrini, has to go today... I suspect the crowd won't have too many local favorites left after today...
I will guess, they might have none at all by tomorrow night...
I wonder if the crowd still want to see badminton if there are no local stars anymore... In Asia, they do, but in Italy... mmm maybe not...
