Has anyone broke Ti during normal playing?

what i mean is that there are flex and stiff rackets
the flex are for beginner
while the stiff are for intermediate or expert
why is it difficult for beginner to use stiff racket??
is it because of the power??
or other factor?

yes, there are many other factors that it is too long to list and describe in detail. For now, i would say flexible racket is more forgiving so it is suited be beginners. The best way to learn all these factors is to start with what u have now and progress from there. You will know what you want from a racket as time goes.

under the specification of 3U Ti7, the recommended max string tension fro the cross is 20 lb and main is 18 lb
can i string it at around 22/21 lb?
will the frame still hold up nicely??
or i have to get the 2U?
what's hte difference between the 2U and 3U?
where is the heaviness reside at??
frame or handle?

You can string it up to 25 lbs with a good stringer. Your only downside, if you break your racquet in a collision then yonex won't replace the racquet.

while i'm gonna play at Canada??
do i still get warranty? here in Canada?? or just HK?

That's a tough one. My friend gets racquets from HK, but tends to break them here and gets them replaced by Yonex Canada. I'm not sure how he does it, but I think he knows someone on the inside. Anyhow, warranty probably won't hold if Yonex Canada finds out that you have a racquet from another country.

I know that Canadian racquets have a serial number etched into them. I have a Ti-10 that is recognized by Yonex Canada, but has no serial number. It was made in Japan, and shipped courier to me within a couple of weeks.

If you're going to string the racquet beyond the recommended tension then you're voiding the warranty without question. If you want your HK racquet to be covered under Yonex Canada warranty, then I suggest you make friends with someone on the inside.

I can play with a 3U Ti-10 in doubles and is just as effective for me as my Cab 23 and Cab 5. I also practice with a squash racquet time to time and play squash too. I seriously would say, if it were up to me, anything below 100 g is good for doubles. Realistically, a good light abd flexable racquet is great for the average doubles play. A stiff and head heavy racquet is great for a singles player. These are the trends. I'm completely oblivious to the trends so I guess try before you buy is a good recommendation.

Sorry for reviving this old thread, as I was doing a search on Ti-10 clash.
I need some help kind info from you guys on Ti-10 clash
I had just bought a new Ti-10 recently (first time use) :

Ti-10 Long
Weight : 2U
Grip Size:G4
Strings : BG-66 (24Ibs)

I have never felt this feeling before. When used correctly, she smashes and sends the shuttle straight to the floor like a bullet. If I mistreat her (wrong technique) she just dun perform at all, hit as hard as possible and nuthing comes out.So hard to control, but yet I love her so much.

Unfortunately, today is my first day using it, I partnered one of my lady fren and clashed with her Yonex Ti-Swing Power (not quite sure which model).
Nothing serious happened(her's and my racquet), BUT there's a tiny crack (about 1.5mm x 0.5mm) at the 7'0clock area.

I wondered, if anyone had this experience, and if you do, can I know from your experience how long my baby can last, without further clashes? Maybe I was just over-react, but first time use, and this happens.....

I broke one of my ti-10 about a week ago. Mine is a 3UG4. I had it for about 6 months. No doubts about the power it can generate on smashes. You know i had numerous clashes on the 12 o'clock position on the frame. There was a very noticeable chip! Disaster finally struck when i mishit a shot on the frame(that exact spot). It just warped!

I am sure that this is not due to any manufacturing defects. This can happen to any rackets. Believe me i had broken quite a number of other rackets. The thing i like about Ti-10 is the solidness of shots it can generate.
