    Well...
You guys point your non-racket arm to the birdie right? :D As in... Pointing your fingers to the birdie? xD
Anyways... That was the first question.
Second question... Does your fingers spread out A LOT? Or just... Not spread out? HAHA xD

hahahaha one should totally just close their fingers and have their pinky finger out pointing at the bird! that would be totally awesome

I have never thought of that until you ask!

I did a few tries and found that my left hand fingers are all loosely open up as in normal situation. Actually only the last 3 fingers, i.e. the middle, the ring and the last finger are generally potining towards the shuttle, the thumb and the pointer finger are generally pointing towards the side.

Hmm... not sure if that help finding the shuttle:p. I only lift up my non-racquet arm for balance purposes during overhead stroke, my arm is bent with fingers relaxed. Pointing or not pointing is a matter of style and preference.

You mean... Actually holding the birdie between your thumb and index. Or having the birdie between your thumb and index in the air.

Try pointing at where you're gonna hit your shot. If it works, point your finger at your opponent for not getting your called shot.
