I'm looking for a 3U or 4U head heavy racket cos i really enjoy singles and at the same time need something light enough to increase my speed a fraction in defence. As i am but a humble student, Yonex is a little too pricey, and i have read some reviews on cheaper brands with quality. Any suggestions if my budget is from below rm200 or a little above rm200 is ok.

Thanks i would really appreciate anyone's point of view!:)

try Proace. SOTX out of that price range. Models you can try are Thunderbolt, Platinum, etc

there seems to be more apacs fans in BC, guess i'll check proace out too. but any models with the specifications i mentioned? 3U or 4U head heavy models from proace or apacs, since sotx is too expensive?

My experience is that proace rackets are basically stiffer than apacs rackets. I personally prefer apacs to proace.

ok.. thanks for your views and suggestions! hmm like this, if i were to choose between apacs nano power 900 and proace thunderbolt 3, which one would be a better choice since they are somewhat similar in the characteristics of head heavy and within the range of 3U and 4U?
anybody who has these rackets have any suggestions? thanks! really appreciate your replies :)

The Apacs N900P is slightly head heavy and the flex is somewhere around 8/10. Power is not bad because it's not very stiff. If I have the money, I'll definitely get another N900P because it's good for its price. I haven't tried the Proace, but when I asked around, it's RM230. It felt stiff to me. Hope this info helped you in a way ;)

it helped indeed! thanks :) . seems that N900P is cheaper, i saw that day to be rm160 at tmn megah badminton hall, i read though in some threads ppl buying for way lower prices. how much did you buy yours lip2525? hmm if proace thunderbolt is indeed rm230, it is a pricey one i must say! but is it worth the price? anybody out there with a thunderbolt 3? is it worth paying about rm70 more (as compared to apacs nano power 900) for the extra punch?

if you really looking for head heavy racket, its better go for thunderbolt series as i try both the racket, and i felt thunderbolt have more power when you smashing. N900P abit soft -_-"

I bought mine for Rm88 lol...Super cheap promotion at AJ Racket in Puchong. Flex 8/10 is stiff, in comparison, Yonex MP100 & 99 is 10, Carbonex21Sp is 9. It's my own judgment, it may differ from others. Normal price for N900P is around Rm120ish. Honestly, it is worth the extra money for a racket if you really really play well with it :D Do swing around the racket before purchasing it so you can get the feel of it.

Hi~! i finally got my Nano900 red and Nano7700 last week...
    i got it for AU$68 plus AU$22postage

I recomend you to buy Nano900 Red and string it at 28lbs (if you are used to handle high tension). it really feels good. For the price i paid for, i would say this is a fantastic racquet. Good smashing power and also net play... although defensive wise its a bit slow..

However i still prefer my Yonex AT800of which i think suits me more... just have a different feeling playing with it compared to other racquets :)

    Hope this helps!

Not sure whether they are still having that promotion. I went there last Saturday and there is no sign of the Nano 900 P :(
