    Hey guys ! ;)

I'm looking for a new racket ... I am presently playing with a MP-21 W/ BG65 since one year. I'm looking for a powerfull racket that is good in control too. I don't wanna pay more than 150 $can.

    1. How often do you play, how serious are you?

    I play 2 times/week ( 4H30 ) at my school. I have a tournament once per month. I am playing since october 2006

    2. What style of player are you? (Aggressive smasher, net player ...)

I smash a lot and do a lot of drop shot from the back of the court.

    3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance?

    It's all about performance.

    4. How much money do you want to spend?

    >150$CAN ($147US)

I am really interest in the AT-700 because of the power it got but i'm not sure because the shaft is really stiff and I only play for 1 year and a half so I'm scared about not beeing able to develop the potential of the racket.

The other racket is the SOTX Woven 7 because it seems to have the same caracteristics that the Armortec 700 and not beeing extra stiff.

I've already tried the NS9K Type X and don't like it at all.
Have you other suggestions? What would be the best racket ?

    Have a nice day ;)

PS: Be indulgent, my first language in french and my english isn't perfect.

I for one don;t find the at700 very stiff, only slightly-stiff.

I'd say, by elimination, the at700 is very head-heavy (quite the world apart from your mp21) and the w7i is extra stiff (stiffer than all other in my opinion).
The woven 7 isn't very headheavy, and not very stiff...I'd say it's a safe bet... or at least the safest...;)

All the racquets you have listed are extreme in some way. My best bet for you would be a racuqet more in the middle, ns9000S or at-500 are good racuqets. Both will give you good amounts of power, and are quite easy to handle as well. The ns 9000s and x are worlds apart in playability(in my opinion at least), same with the at-500 and at-700.
