All university in Melbourne have their own badminton club. SO you can still join the clubs and play. Plus there are various social clubs that you can join which have strong players.

    Hiya msl_turtle,

When will you be starting your studies in Perth? Will you be following the typical University semester study periods?

I'd be happy to bring you around the clubs so you can have a look...
    Check your PM... :D

All work and no play = not very interesting person;)

Allocate your time to studies and allocate time to leisure activities. Don't feel guilty about taking time out to enjoy your life so long as it is not done to excess and you always remember the priority goes to studies.

Leisure time is also educational - develop new friendships, learn about other cultures, being understanding and openminded.

Even doctors take time out to play badminton inlcuding playing in competitions;)

    Badminton in Perth, Australia

    Hi Cheung,

Hehehe... Even doctors take time to play Badminton. :)

BTW, I see that this thread has been moved from "General Forum" to "Australia / New Zealand".

Perhaps the thread title should also be changed from "Badminton in Australia" to "Badminton in Perth, Australia", since msl_turtle was asking for venues to play @Perth, Australia.

    Cheers... chris@ccc
