How to increase grip size without overgrips
I need to increase the size of my grip, but I would like to keep the tackiness and feel of my contoured replacement grip, so I'd prefer not to use overgrips or towel grips. Do you have any tips on how to increase the size of the grip and still keep the replacement grip as the outermost layer?
If I use tape on the bare wood, any tips on what type of tape I should use?
Thanks!

yeah , what about masking tape? The black strong stuff. That should probably do the trick.

When you mention the black tape, are you talking about the really smooth and elastic electrical tape? Or the rougher hockey-style tape?
Thanks so far!

yes, replace your replacement grip with an overgrip, then add layer of replacement grip on top of it, so you rg still on outside

Another grip of the appropriate thickness or you could try surgical tape, cricket bat repair tape, masking tape etc. then put your favourite grip on top.
