wow, this mary and you seems to be competative in a lot of things, martial arts, badminton, swimming? (assuming swimming because of the goggles but it might be other sports that involves goggles )...arch nemesis huh?

Lol, the goggles were for badminton (doubles, club regulations).
We're not really that competitive (anymore, that is), and not arch nemesises, but if we do happen to compete, we do it properly ^_^. She was in my kickboxing class a while ago. One day, our teacher asked us to show an example of a good sparring match.
It ended up getting a little too heated and it took 3 instructors to pry us apart. They were trying to break us up but at the same time trying to avoid the blows themselves. I was so focused on my strikes that I didn't even notice my intructor yelling at us. No one expected us to go on like that. The rest of the students were like wtf was that ?! Funny thing was, we managed to block every single blow that we threw at eachother . It was sort of a useless match since there was no determined winner .
"COUGH" Anyway ... bottom line is that we're no longer as competitive, but there are those moments where we get lost in competition and go all out.

Should I leave the funnies out of this forum? Should I just be dry and point out that by throwing the rule book at her means show her the rule where it say 13.3.5 touches the person or dress of a player; is a fault? Should I be so plane and showing the rule and she have no way to get any upper hand next time? Should I tell her to read the rule book and know the rules so no one is crazy or drive us crazy to lookup the rule book and point you the right rule?
If so, I will be dry as the desert.

I thank you for your understanding.
Beat her with the rule book. Because you have the right rule to back your words up.
Be nice to her, no need to gain an enemy.
Just make sure next time you smash hard enough at her forehead so the shuttle will bounce back and you can give her that point. Both of you can laugh it off.

And, yes, it might come in handy in several and unexpected ways

Woooo~ IMO, it's 3 points for you to the good.
1, Hit opponent on the head
2, Force your opponent to commit a foul
3, Have a chance to really KO her by throwing a rule book
What more can you ask for a match winner!
