To celebrate my currently bought AT900-T,i wanted to contribute by making this thread for all the fans of AT900-T/P to talk about the diva.As we know,AT900 is a racket that combine both nano technology, and armortec, two major techs in the badminton racket world, founded by yonex, into one. So,whether u r an owner, tried,or someone who got questions or comments about the AT900...u're all welcome to this thread.
I recently acquired one: 3U G5. I will post a review after I get it strung with a special string from "you know whom" .
I currently own a CH version of AT900-T.4U,G4.Strung at 25,26 lbs using NBG 95 (CH).Loved the string noise.Sounds like glass.WOW!For me,the overall of this racket is not so awesome.I was once played with an AT900-T(JP) strung with a NBG98(JP) at 26 lbs. That one really caught my attention.Really felt that this racket is the best in the market. That's why i really wanna buy this monster. But,until now, after i own one,a CH,i'm still not so satisfied with mine, compared with how i felt during playing with the JP.Is it the different country code,or the different string, different weight that made the difference? (Just like in terms of girls, where u'd love to have them before they're urs,but when they're yours,u tend to love other girls, and tend to compare them with ur own girl, and thinking that they're better??Like in "Neighbour's grass is greener that our grass")LOL... Mine's 4U,the JP one is 3U.Probably it's myself who's still not used to it.But i'm looking forward to make a good friend with this racket.I wanna get used to it.I believe there's still alot of hidden potentials to dig out.I believe in AT900. Btw,Wondered how much can AT900-T 4U can hold.In another thread,i was replied that it could hold up to 28 lbs depend on the stringer n the physical condition of the racket.Assume that it's new n done nicely by the stringer, can it really hold?Has anyone here tried to strung their AT900 4U at 28lbs? VIVA AT900!!
Yup..that's what i regret.Just realized that mine's 4U instead of 3U,after i strung my racket.:crying:
4U!! Yuck!! 3U!! yeah!!!! I concur with Pete, you need to compare to the same class. Same grip? Possibly.
besides n95 and n98 alone would make a world difference where 95 is thick and aimed for durability; 98 is extremely thin, can't really give a fair compare given that both string and wegith class r so different
Hey ! buddies , it look many of you prefer 3U compare to 4U racket , why ? i need to know before i bought a new AT900-T ..
You guys are rude! Haha! I own 4U AT900T but you guys keep on criticizing it. I'm a girl and a girl wants a light racket. But I guess not all. I also want 3U racket, I can buy one as soon as I want it too. But first I have to break my 4U racket. Not intentionally but accidentally. )
Lol Reiko!! Sorry Reiko, we are too nice to you ahhaa! Well I too also own a 4U racket but it's a model of its own since there is no 3U version of it. Also women players too like to use however it's been discontinued 3 years ago. You can see it here (SA I have).
Here here I own a 3ug5 at900t with bg65 at 27lbs I am also enchanted by its combination of nano and armortec it is quite stiff and heavy initially but i get used to it now and just great! Tried 4u at900p feel obviously head heavier than T and surprised how a 4u racket can give a such power and feel that pull your hand down when smashing I love both at900s!
hi guys..i m goin to narita(japan) nxt week..really looking fwd to buy this racket there..i m currently using N6K (3UG4) 2pcs and also have a N7700K (3UG4)..i uses more of N6K for play..all strung wit Nanogy98 4points at 24/25..i m not a very strong player.. just average..like i have mention on the other thread..don't always send the birdie to baseline when i m caught off guard..quite good in defence..initially i thought of gettin the at900t 4UG4..as i read more n more..a lot of u recommend 3U at900t..reason given it's easier to break for 4U..i really need u guys who own/uses this at900t a gud recommendations/opinions..i do not want to end up with an excellent racket but wrong weight..to all u guys n ladies..thanks in advance for yr advices..
AT900t, BG80-24lbs. I got it last week. It feels light. I was expecting it to be head heavier than my woven 9a. The drop shots were very good. Power is a bit lacking compared to my cab 21, but that might change with more practice with it.
