Oddly enough, although these are not on the Hitec Korea website, they do appear on some online shopping sites in Korea (for example 4701 and 3702). Not cheap, though, at KRW110,000. I also can't help thinking that the online sellers here have the colour codes mixed up. On two different sites, it says that the red and silver one is for women and that the powder blue and silver one is for men. The 3701, also billed as 4-Sys, does come in a black and orange model, however. A guy in my club plays with these.[IMG][IMG]

May I ask how the shoes perform? does the 4-SYS really give that much difference as compared to any yonex shoes (insole, grip)

I've never played with them so I don't know. I don't know where that guy plays other than our gym. In our gym, the floor is concrete covered in urethane so everyone complains that there is too much traction. You could play on that floor in bowling shoes and still have maximum mobility. Sorry.

So, did anyone ever try out the Hi-tec 4:Sys? I'm thinking of buying a pair.

Btw, the picture that ToMitch posted was the squash version. The badminton version is this one:

If you look closely you'll notice that the sole and rubber on the front are slightly different.

From the Korean site you can see that the squash and badminton shoes have different soles to provide sport specific cushioning:

yes! i have a pair - and i've playing in them once :d
they seem okay - a lot closer fitting than previous hitec shoes - seems more like a move back to the original hi-tec squash shoe shape..

Check out the videos on this website. Nathan Robertson assists Hi-Tec with the R&D and tries out the Yonex SHB99LTD and Hi-Tec shoes:
