    Hi,
Does strings matters alot too you guys? Or is it just some mental thing like, taufik uses bg66, so bg66 is good. Does cheap= lousy?

I generally do not think so, have been using hiqua strings for around 6months, i do not really feel that they are of much less inferior to yonex.:D:D

String does matter. However, a right tension go before the right string. I personally like Yonex BG85 and BG80. Ashaway NGX 0.68mm is great too. However, BG65 is always good option if you break a lot of string. The short side of BG65 is it loos tension fast. However, if you break a lot of string, it would not matter because the string will break before it loos the tension.

String selection is just like the racket selection. The right one (with the right tension, of course) is more important than more expensive one. BG66 is no where to be cheap to begin with. ;)

String does matters. But,the most important thing is does the string suits ur play.Brands n the thickness r absolutely personal preferrence.Generally, there's no best string in badminton..but there is best string for u.

    Micropower .66mm Plain white

For repulsion u can try micropower .66mm color=plain white.
I discovered that the plain white one is more fierce and more power when u smash compare with the others color of micropower.Plain white is the latest color Ashaway add, before they don't produce this color.

For YONEX BG66 try to get the original one as there's a fake in the market.
Black BG66 is the most crispy.

Changing string every 2 sessions is quite expensive if you play very often. Try BG65 with about 10% more tension. The feeling is similar, but durability will improve signifcantly.

It's still hard for me to take in that .66mm string can possibly be that durable @ high tension! I switched to a .70mm string as most .68mm strings don't like me much! To go down .66mm seems like asking me to blow more money! Is it really that durable?

what tension are you using? I had mine at 25x27lbs, it was very good.
Just make sure the stringer take extra care and string slowly when stringing.

NBG98 is much more durable than BG66 or the poor BG6.Depends on ur style of playing. If u smash alot,or a power type..then choose the thicker string. But if u play both power n technique..then 0.66 like NBG98 n BG66 is ur answer.Their repulsion is the best..The only difference is maybe that BG66 got more grip than the NBG98,which is slippier.
