What camera you using? Any problems when you take pictures of other things? It looks like camera shake to me. i.e. with low levels of light indoors, the camera shutter stays open for longer time. This allows enough light in to make the image. Unfortunately, it stays open for so long, your hands move and then the image becomes blurred. Thread moved to photography forum
other pictures i took no problem.... im using the GrandVision EZ shot s60z camera..... maybe bcoz i shake my hand during taken the picture, but im sure i din shake my hand during taking the photo.... but sometimes i took some pictures, it becomes dark... why like that? example....
definitely is hand shake.... old hand??? set to higher iso, make some practices at home. photos turn dark also due to poor lightning at lower iso speed
You did not notice your hand shook. For the dark ones, you notice they are not blurred. Probably, the shutter was open for a shorter time. So, less time to be affected by handshaking but total amount of light is less so picture goes dark.
look for "ISO" setting in your camera. since photos are taken indoor, you want a large number for the ISO setting, maybe 400 or 800 if available. and then you need to turn off the flash if the subject is too far away. when you are outdoor you can turn the ISO back down to 100 or 200.
now...... go buy a new digital camera which can set up to iso800 or bigger aperture this camera, use on daytime only..... www.grandvision.net/s60z/GrandVision_spec_s60z.htm # camera flash is up to 4m or 12ft max..... no point if your subject is further than that. kwun's canon speedlite can reach 58m.......
I'm essential;ly agreeing with what others have said already. With a lot of indoor photography the aperture stays open longer (assuming you're on an autoexposure) to compensate for low light. this means that the any slight camera shake is going to result in a blurred picture. Also, I'm guessing you used the zoom function as well, which will also amplify any camera shake. You might be able to get rid of the shake by balancing the camera on a railing or something. The darkness might be improved a little by switching the autioflash off as otherwise the camera will be expecting a brightly lit subject and will adjust its auto-settings. Given that your subject is too far away to be lit by your flash the resulting image is quite dark.
Yup, looks like that. Only way to get any unblurred shots is to photograph people on outside courts in daytime.
or you could buy a film camera! That way, in terms of light sensitivity, you are only limited by the type of film you have access to! A radical thought I know in this day and age!
