Hot off the press! Got these a couple of days ago.

I'm looking forward to trying these out to see how close they are to the real deal.

Other than these pictures, I don't really have too much additional information other than Winex Taiwan will be shipping samples to their distributors.

No idea yet. I would suspect that pricing should be similar to current nylon pricing.

For me, certenly the feel weight and flight of the shuttle is the most important but 80% real feather sound......not 70 or 90 mind you ;)

Do you think any of todays plastics sound anything like feathers? I don't think so but it would be quite nice if these really did.

So, one nylon = 3 feather in durability?

Look very similar to nylons offered by Victor. Tough to imitate nature, especially the complex pattern of the goose feather.

Feathers are nice, but the plastics are a lot more durable. And plus, if you cram a plastic bird into your bag cause you don't have anymore tube space, you don't feel as bad.

I must apologize to all BFers here. My original post seems to imply that I have received a few tubes of the shuttles. I have not. I'd just received the pictures as published. I am so very sorry but Winex Taiwan did promised that they will be shipping samples to all their distributors but currently there is no set timeframe to when these samples will arrive.

there's one thing i hate: Engrish

    "feel likes real feather"

    come on. seriously.

but other than that, this looks pretty neat. I wonder, however, if the tips of the nylon skirt would break easily.

look like mavis 2000, a step improvement of plastic shuttle, is a reaction to winex's nanofly. Both mavis 2000 and nanofly design look similar.

    Anyone tried those yet?
Like "Cooler" says look like Mavis 2000 but with one large difference that might make difference the skirt has a wider footprint attached to the Cork!

Looking forward to a real Mavis 2000 vs Winex Nanofly vs Feather review.
