Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 25 May-2011 (A short report)

* 15 players attended.

* 3 tubes of shuttlecocks were used.

* It's great that most CCCers who have booked in attended. Unfortunately, 4 players (who emailed me that they are coming) ended up not with us; they ended up playing with Albert Park Badminton Club, thinking it was CCC Badminton Club.

* With fewer players, I didn't need to organise games, and I got myself playing much earlier.

* We welcomed 3 first-timers, namely;
(1) Claire-M (New BC member)
(2) Derrick-W (Friday night CCCer)
(3) Ben-N (Malaysian player via phone)

Hope that our new comers have enjoyed themselves playing Badminton with us.

I am one who is unhappy about Badminton players Sandbagging at Graded tournaments.

It's time again to remind players of our CCC Shuttlecocks Policy.

CCC Shuttlecocks Policy:

If the shuttlecock is still good for our next game, place it under the net (in the middle of the court).

CCCers please be reminded that:

* Our players' charges are dependent on our club's expenses.
* We don't need a new shuttlecock to start every new game.

If we spend more on shuttlecocks, the cost will be passed on to the our players.

Therefore, at the end of your game, if the shuttlecock is still good, please place it under the net (in the middle of the court). The next group of players (in the next game) should warm up with older used shuttlecocks. When ready to start their game, then use that good shuttlecock that is placed under the net (in the middle of the court).

Booking In List: For Wednesday CCC at MSAC on 01-Jun-2011.

From our CCC Badminton Club Forum Site, you'll find the instructions for how to add your name to our Booking In List. If you cannot find our CCC Site, post in this thread to ask, and we will send you the link.

It's found that newer BCers do not know how to turn the pages of our thread.
Just click on the page numbers found at the top or bottom section of this page.

Our CCC courts for this session:
(6 courts to 11:00pm)
(1) Court No.10.....from 7:30pm (3.5 hours)
(2) Court No.11.....from 8:00pm (3.0 hours)
(3) Court No.12.....from 9:00pm (2.0 hours) - 1 hour extra
(4) Court No.9.......from 10:00pm (1.0 hour)
(5) Court No.1.......from 10:00pm (1.0 hour) - 1 hour extra
(6) Court No.2.......from 10:00pm (1.0 hour) - 1 hour extra
giving us a total of 11.50 hours of court-time.

We do a Booking In List:
(1) To welcome BadmintonCentral members to attend
(2) To ensure that players who have booked in would not be turned away
(3) To ensure that we have enough games, it is best not to exceed 26 players
