(1) To welcome BadmintonCentral members to attend.
(2) To ensure that players who have booked in would not be turned away.

Some CCCers asked me how are our girls at Caulfield Grammar School performing at the Inter-School Matches conducted by APS (Associated Public Schools) of Victoria.

We have good news. Today, we have won the premiership.

We have Max 16 players.

I think we should stick to 16. Because 18 players means we will have odd number of teams - 9 team/pair. That's mean we will have either 3 teams waiting at the winner court or loser court instead of the usual 2 teams.

As we have discussed before, setting to a maximum of 16 players (8 pairs) is the best.

However, we are not running as smooth as we wanted to.

As most of you know, many a times, we had players who have booked in but were absent (withdrew without giving others enough time to attend), for example;

* On Wed 29-Feb-2012: Leonard-W
* On Wed 07-Mar-2012: Frank-C
* On Wed 21-Mar-2012: Alex-T

Or perhaps, CCCers who have booked in MUST pay the fees whether they are attending or not (It's the absentee's fault).

BTW, these were our attendances;

* Wed 29-Feb-2012: 15 players
* Wed 07-Mar-2012: 13 players
* Wed 21-Mar-2012: 15 players

We didn't get our intended number of 16 players (because of very late withdrawals). That is why our balance sheet is in the RED.

If we set our limit to 18 players, we could be sure to have at least 16 players attending most of the time.

It shall be capped at 18.

I just hope that CCCers who have booked in but couldn't attend (at the last moment), would inform us, and move those 2 in the Reserve List up to the Main List.
