ADVICE NEEDED!!

I had a bruised big toenail on my racket foot few months ago, which I believed was caused by my badminton yonex shoes. Now, the whole piece came off!!! I was terrified, so went to see the doctor... now the piece is hanging there.

Is there a problem with the yonex shoes? too tight? or not tight enough?

Don't hear about problems from other players wearing Yonex shoes.

Probably yours are not well-fitted. I 'll have a look at your shoes when you see me next.

hey,

it has nothing to do with your shoes.....

this generally happens when your toenail is bruissed.... if it's small/light bruise, then usually the bruisse just stays there until your nail grows and you eventually cut it off.

but if it's a bad bruise and you toe nail is dead, then usually it comes off after a while, allowing a new nail to grow. if it's still hanging there, you should probably cut it off as soon as possible.... leaving half a nail hanging there is not gonna do you any good.....

it happened t me once when i was playing soccer..... took half a year for the nail to grow back properly......

If I peel/cut off the whole piece now, there's nothing there to protect the toenail ? and it is grossss I have the dead nail + bandage now to protect the toe flesh until the new grows.... ya, which apparently will take 6-9 months to grow.
