Hi CCCers,

We shall start our Booking List for Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 05-Dec-2012

It's our 243rd Wednesday Social Session at MSAC (after we have moved here permanently); and it's our 46thfor this year.

We do a Booking List:
(1) To welcome BadmintonCentral members to attend.
(2) To ensure that players who have booked in would not be turned away.
(3) To ensure that we have enough games for all players, it is best not to exceed 18 players.
Hope to have our 'Booking List' finalised by Tuesday 6:30pm.

Reminder:
If you cannot attend, you will need to be removed before 4:30pm on Wednesday, otherwise you will be charged.
Why? Because there are CCCers who are wishing to attend (checking to book in - up to the last hours) have found themselves missing out after we have FULL HOUSE.

With fewer CCCers attending tonight (Wednesday 05-Dec-2012), it's a good time to organise an inter-team competition amongst ourselves.

We shall form 2 teams. You can select your teammates (for the fun of it), and organise matches between the 2 teams.

It shall be like the 'CBA League Format'.

* We thank CCCers for removing themselves when they couldn't attend, therefore allowing others to join in. As you know by now, if you have booked in and did not turn up, you will be fined the session fee (because you have prevented others from taking your place).

Unfortunately it's a busy time of year and once again we're hosting the Australian Schools Volleyball Tournament in December.

All halls will be unavailable from Saturday 8th December until Friday 14th December inclusive.

The halls will re-open for regular use on Saturday 15th December.

It appears that players don't like the idea of playing at the University of Melbourne (as indicated by only 2 replies).

Yes, the courts there are not as good as MSAC's, therefore it's not a surprise.

Jerry has sent me the MSAC operating hours over the X'mas & New Year holidays (2012-2013).

I have simplified it for us (for Badminton) in this spreadsheet;

I have been informed that on Wednesday 19-Dec-2012, MSAC will be closing at 10:00pm (not 8:00pm). Therefore, we could have our courts from 7:30pm to (but) 10:00pm. It's only for the 2 Wednesdays, 26-Dec-2012 and 02-Dec-2013, that MSAC will be closing at 8:00pm. And from Wednesday 09-Dec-2013, we shall be back to normal times.

Therefore, please disregard what info was informed at our session held on Wednesday 05-Dec-2012.

Here are our revised/amended session-times for the following Wednesdays;
* 12-Dec-2012...Session is cancelled (MSAC is having Inter-Schools Volleyball).
* 19-Dec-2012...Session is from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
* 26-Dec-2012...Session is from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
* 02-Jan-2013....Session is from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
* 09-Jan-2013....Session is from 7:30pm to 11:00pm (everything is back to normal times).

The booking list for next CCC social session (on 19-Dec-2012) shall be out on Friday 14-Dec-2012, so that we won't get confused.

We know that many could be away on holidays, so please book in earlier when our next few booking lists come out - for we might need to book fewer court-hours (if we have fewer players attending). Perhaps, we shall close off our booking lists 24 hours before our sessions commence (for the next few weeks).
