Chris,

I think Nitin has a point there. 8 persons for 1 court is more reasonable. I think 12 persons on 1 court is too many.

Working on the ratio, on a normal night, a 6.5hrs court time has 16 persons.
So when there is only 3.5 hours, we should only have 8.6 persons.

Can we reduce the number of person to 8 for next Wednesday?

8 players wouldn't be able cover the costs for court hire and shuttlecocks played over 3.5 hours.

Perhaps for 8 players, we can organise to finish at 10:00pm (because shuttlecock usage is reduced by about 30%.

Some CCCers have asked if they can exchange partners.

The answer is "YES".

However, it is best to exchange partners only when the 4 scheduled players are called on to play.

Example: When 2 pairs are scheduled to play, they can arrange between themselves who to partner who. And when that match is finished, the players will need to wait to see who will be the next 4 to play (in their next scheduled match) before they can swap partners again.

This is the best way to swap partners without causing confusion to our scheduled matches.

I just got home from after watching the Australian Open Mens Singles Semi-Finals. While watching, Lisa-L rang me saying she's worried about you.

You and 3 others were to turn up at supper after your Badminton at MSAC, but you did not show up.

Finally got through Stanley C, he got cramp on his legs and couldn't find us in the shop..(maybe he went to the wrong shop) and his phone did not work. Fortunately he was fine


So Duc and Cindy ended up taking home the Vegetarian and the whole Margherita pizza. Duc said he will give it to his neighbour. Cindy said to smack you when she see you next week

Many thanks for the post, very touched indeed . Didn't get robbed, but did get a a really bad cramp after when at the change room, was barely able to stretch it out and lambed to the front desk to find nobody there. Just so happened that I didn't have anyone of theirs phone number and did see Duc anywhere (he told me he would be waiting for us outside?!). Managed to get into the car and drive (lucky it wasn't my right leg that was acting up). Strage enough didn't see anyone at the shop when I got there and could feel the twitching in the muscle, so went home to get some ice. Is like a leaky roof often meets heavy rain, my phone out of service which I couldn't call you back lisa, for some strange reason (time for a phone upgrade). I just wish to send in my apologies to lisa, cindy and duc and my thanks to Chris.
