Unfortunately, we have FULL HOUSE again for this Wednesday, 20-Jun-2012.

Please keep in touch with this thread to see if any CCCers are unable to attend, and they have kindly removed their names from our Booking List.

Then, late BCers can replace them.

For our limited court-time, and to ensure that we have enough games for all players; It is best not to exceed 18 players.

2012 Victorian International Tournament

Hi CCCers,

Just to inform you that our 2012 Victorian International Tournament (to be played at MSAC on Thursday 28-Jun, Friday 29-Jun and Saturday 30-Jun) will have 14 countries represented.

Here is 2 info I wish to inform you;
(1) There is no admittance fee to watch at this tournament matches.
(2) Line judges are required at this tournament (Please help in this department, if you can).

Note: This year the semi-finals will commence on Saturday 30th June @ 10am. Finals will also be held on Saturday 30th June commencing at 3pm.

Sorry for not being able to turn up in tonight's game. My car's battery drained possibly due to the alarm setting off every now and then for the whole day due to strong winds at the parking area. Lessons learned- dont set your car's alarm on during this kind of weather. Ill pay you for my spot next week. See you then.

Wednesday CCC at MSAC: 20-Jun-2012 (A short report)

* At this session, we welcomed 1 new player;
1. Sibi-M (Shaji-S's friend). Sibi came because Deric-A couldn't.
Hope that he enjoyed playing with us.

* With FULL HOUSE, we extended our session to 11:00pm (and at Court No.12 too).

* Players were playing our "CCC Social Challenge Matches"; To have 2 courts, 1 for Winners and 1 for Losers (based on players' previous games' results).

* Below, we shall state the rules for our "CCC Social Challenge Matches" for new player(s).

For new player(s), here is the Schedule for our "CCC Social Challenge Matches";

1. Terms used:

1.1 Qualification Match = Your first match.

1.2 Challenge Matches = Your later matches.

1.3 Schedule Match = Your next match, after players waiting before you have played.

2. Schedule of our Matches:

2.1 Before starting, first find a partner. For players looking for partners, please don't be shy to post in this thread asking for partners.

2.2 If no partner is found, then see chris-ccc.

2.3 With set (limited) number of participants, we should have a quick turn-over of matches. Therefore, warm-up hits are only permitted for Qualification Matches; There shall be no warm-up for Challenge Matches.

2.4 After your Qualification Matches, there should be winners and losers awaiting to play in the next scheduled match (the Challenge Match). As scheduled and when players enter onto the court, the 4 players may exchange partners if they wish.

2.5 The shuttlecock being placed under the net in the middle of the court is for the next scheduled match

2.6 Court No.10 is used for losers' Challenge Matches.

2.7 Court No.11 is used for winners' Challenge Matches.

2.8 After your match, please remember to place a shuttlecock under the net in the middle of the court for the next scheduled match.
