    As speculated by some that if CCM and CCE is under KLRC. The answer is that they are not under KLRC. They are under Victor sponsorship and other funding from private sponsors.

    Since they are sparring with BAM players. Both of them are still being "coached" by Rexy. And in who is going to look at their game during tournaments.. it might be BAM coaches or players too. See whoever is available.

    I second that. They will merely make up the numbers.

    Way past their prime? CTF/LWW are older. Tony/Chandra are older(32). Of course JE/ML of Denmark are way older. The veterans still manage make waves, why not CCM/CCE?
    CCM = 27
    CCE = 30 or 31

    If you mean "past prime" - CCM's old shoulder injury & CCE's age,perhaps, perhaps not, we shall see.
    And since they're under private company, not BAM, wouldnt be wasting tax-payers $$$ as some of you will say.

    i would love to see them make a comeback, as i used 2 watch them play when i was younger, and i liked CCM's play... But even tho CCM is still 27, CCE is 31, so, that begs the question: can they play together well again? it will be interesting!

    CCM/CCE is no TG/CW or JE/ML.

    Well i would like to see them do well too. Anyway we know that they will not play for long.. but at least they are willing to try to play as a pair again and see how far they can go.

    Who wouldnt want Malaysians to do well. But we need to be realistic as well.

    And no sportsmen/women last forever.

    I agree with you that no sportsperson last forever. No harm trying actually. You never try you never know. Winners never quit and quitters never win.

    But sadly, this is a realistic world. Like Malaysian football, we can try and try and then try some more till the cows all come home, but the closest we gonna get to the World Cup is infront of our TV.

    Yes, CCM/CCE can try.

    I agree. They will be a force to reckon with ! To want to play, it must mean they still feel for the game as players and think they can still make an impact.

    That's good to hear, win-win situation. They & BAM players get quality sparring, Rexy gets his wish, CCM/CCE sometimes can get tips from coaches.

    Maybe, but I dont expect them to make an impact immediately, they havent been playing together like 4-5 years? Even the legendary Tony/Chandra took some time. It'll be very interesting for fans, to say the least.

    Xball, if you going Msia Open and manage to watch them play, can record on digicam? (if you have one)

    The Key Point for success on this partnership is their ability to avoid major injured to themselves.
    They have prove to be injury-prone which always affected their partner's perfomance.
    Anyway, there will be less pressure for them to perform now as CCM is out of national squad, and as many suggest that for MAS Players, less pressure - greater chances for success. Lets see hows far they can go.
    It is still too early for us to make any conclusion here as they never been participating in any internationa tournys since their reformation.

    Hold on to your horses. No one is mocking CCM/CCE here. You need to know the difference between mocking/belittling and stating an opinion.

    I respect your opinion about footballers being big headed and egoistic. But badminton players aint footballers part, I am not too sure. Look what happened to our Thomas Cup 92 team after getting their big rewards?? ;)

    Have a nice day.
