Centennial college at 401 & markham rd. Its a drop in club, most use plastic some use feath, you need to fill out a form to register, thurs 8-10pm, sundays roughly same time 1 hour earlier or later, 5 bucks a visit.
Hey guys....just wondering...how long is the duration of play for the drop-in sessions per court here? Do u guys rotate every 15-30 mins or is it based on a first come first serve basis? Will really appreciate the info. Thanks.
If it gets really busy, there will be a timer for 15 minute shifts. Otherwise, you can play a game or two and rotate.
are you guys open for today, jan 15th 2008? And I am bringing 3 other players with me to play with. Do we need to register or fill up a form or just pay at the door for the drop-in session? And just to confirm the time is it still at 8-11 pm? Thank you.
How busy is Sunday? Do you have to go way in advance to "reserve" a spot ( a-la Armadale)? I'm thinking about going this Sunday with my doubles partner. We're looking for some good pick-up games. We're intermediate players.
jan 15th is a tuesday... cent badminton is available only on thurs and sun, you have to sign in at door, so if you never played there before, you need to fill out form and sign in, it wont take long.
sundays are less busy than thurs, cent got 8 courts, thru these years playing, i have never encountered the case where "spots are full" like armadale, so don't worry. yupe... you can find urself some good double match there... intermedia player eh? bring it! muhahaha~
ohh sorry my bad...lolz...so things are good to go for Thursday 17/01/2008 then? Looking foward to be playing at centennial this week...used to play in armadale...but itz getting ridicilously packed now...
How about thursday nights? Does it get really busy? How are the courts arranged? Is there a gym supervisor that sets up games? Or is it a a free-for-all?
Will there be badminton @ cent on Feb 7th? I noticed there were 3 dates on a posted note on the change room last week.
so the main intersection is markham rd and 401, it's on progress but which part of the building do we enter from?
Centennial will be open today (Febuary 21) @ 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. As well on Sunday February 24 @ 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. You can park and enter the DEL Gym at the far end. [Edit: If anyone here is on Facebook as well, the group "Centennial College Badminton Club" posts updated schedules!]
