Thanks for the direction. After being tortured for 6 pages, finally found that Chris@ccc is indeed native to Masia (I guess a Chinese descendant?). You could have given me the link for the page 6 though. Is that the way you want to get back to me for bad mouthing you
But thanks the same, you always come through when needed, a living dictionary for the BC forum. The reading was good, which reminded me the phrase of "Asian Tiger" coined sometime time ago.
KL looks well developed and countryside must be nice to see as well. Must be a good place for our friends to live and fly. I hope the cities don't have the same inner city problems as in US since they are newer

No and yes..
..to answer the above highlighted comments:
1. No..
2. Yes, of course it was a good read. Why would i lead you to something that you'll fall asleep upon..hehe
..Well, fortunately it wasn't too long of a thread and has some pics to entertain your eyes...

Yes, you should have a visit to KL, if you have time, in the future (as pics can only do so much to one's imagination)..

It's just not what I had in mind. I though Masia was more like Chn before, backwater kind thing. Even Chn today has become something I'm no longer familiar with. It seems KL is as good as Shanghai if not better
As to your knowledge base, one of eaglehelang's quizzes is still standing. Are you going to give a try and beat Chris@ccc to the punch or it's too easy for you
Don't shy away from any challenges or prizes next time

chris@ccc is on a roti canai
.
Good morning eaglehelang... Hope you have slept well, after following the Malaysia Open 2008 late into the night.
Race : ???? You've posted so many...... that you've forgotten.

Like racing to your excellent translations of News from the Malay newspapers (many of our members@BC appreciated your effort, even our kwun), racing to explain to ctjcad, Loh, azabaz_ipoh, koo_fan, taneepak, etc... in this thread 'Interesting Bahasa Malaysia and Indonesia' (I'm wondering if you still have families and friends in Medan
), racing to translate the "Shuttler Dream" video about KKK/TBH for a few@BC who were watching You Tube (I'm sure mamamiaa, PlayaFromMalaya, Jessica, etc... all appreciated your effort too), etc, etc......
You are truly a Valued Member@Badminton Central !!!

.
.
Birdwood should have answered the 3rd one.

.
.
Yes, the second one took me some time to search too.

.
.
Because eaglehelang spelt PlayaFromMalaya wrong, many people couldn't search for it (I think ???
).
.
.
Our ctjcad usually directs people to the longer path.

.
.
Our ctjcad knew this answer along.

Ohhhh want to "butter" me. wont work lah. Translation? If you're from Msia, then you know how to read the malay version right?? Translate also cos our Mr Oldhand hint hint, I think he no understand malay.
Now racing to translate highlights for some Westerner fan in the videos section. I still dont understand why they want to watch highlights
, mostly on Msia players, all in malay, I also certain parts find boring.
Race : You know, Caucasion, African-American, Vietnam. Like our Azabar is malay. There's Indian, Chinese, Portugese, he, he.
Already give hint, HK Open, Semi Finals thread, reply to Badmania on Kido/Setiawan's win over Fu/Cai. Or KKK/TBH split thread. Very easy lah.
Again, what prize you want??Last edited by eaglehelang; 01-16-2008 at 09:08 PM.

Exciting Malaysia Open SS 2008 is over, we can now come back to our lounge talk
.

Now that the exciting Malaysia Open SS 2008 is over, we can come back to our lounge talk again.

And eaglehelang is already talking about the Hong Kong's 4 heavenly kings of entertainment.

I saw you did take my advice to stay out of MSF of MO 08 until it's over and your prediction was correct that LCW would win Men's title. So next time, take my advice again and do all the lounge talk while we fight over the nerves

What is this "Hong Kong's 4 heavenly kings of entertainment", another quiz
I hope you finish the other one before starting a new one

Hello, fellow bird, It's well known HK 4 heavenly Kings are : Andy Lau, Leon Lai, Aaron Kwok, Jacky Cheung
Btw, good thing you went to bed already during WD. RTM (as usual) stopped the live telecast when WD was finished, at the time already 6.30 pm.
But from Temasek Green's links, KO will be better.
