hi, i checked for east area this week alr. cfm no courts, unless its bedok sports hall. cos i checked the CCs.

and erm. for 14th mar, fengshan is fully booked and kampong chaichee is taken up too! omg i din noe that it opens earlier than 12am! i think we need to settle and choose on a date first.

as a mini suggestion, besides the list of people who played/interested in playing, why not we make a time-table of those days and date we will be available.

with that done, the court-bookers will know whether it's to safe to book the court on a specific date and yet at the same time, attendance will not be compromised.

hi all, ill need an indication, is 8.30pm-10.30pm an 'ok' slot to play? too late? may try getting wkend slots in the afternoon if really cant get wkday nights

830-1030pm is ok with me, not sure about the others as yet... i've put a post up asking everyone to indicated the days/times they're available (as suggested by bitterhahas)... that'll make it easier to gauge turn out n decide whether or not to book courts... can gauge from there if 830-1030pm is ok... wkend slots in the afternoon as an alternative are fine, but from previous feedback, saturday is preferred over sunday (sundays are often reserved for family n other commitments, n not preferred as the day after is a working day)... thanks again for all the effort!

You know, if you guys don't mind travelling to playing at bishan sh, I can help you guys get the courts there on any of the days except Wednesday and Sunday coz I use bishan sh myself on wednesday and on sunday I just have too much courts to book already Its quite easy to get the courts there and the atmosphere there is really nice too

i have a recommendation ;
as chrislyn only is helping us to secure courts; it is not fair for her to bear the costs, eg, the courts terror mentioned booked by bcnewbie (tues) that we missed ...

if we could form a membership for this group, put in monthly contributions (say S$15.00). these funds will be used for court and birdie payments. members will also play a more active role to look out for courts that are already booked. then we will not have "not-show" cases happening . and if we have shortage of players, guests will pay S$5.00 per session... just my 2 cents worth...

yea i think the monthly payment thing is a good idea. but shldnt we first like set a date, after collating everyones schedule. like for eg, we decide to play every wed. so those who can make it for all 4 weds pay the monthly fee, those who can make it for 2-3 days pay slightly lesser and we seta a separate fee for guest?
