Is there any ladies in this grp; my wife wld like to join le BTW have we managed to book any crts for 15th Feb. Most venue allow booking 2 wks in advance which is today.

Hi to everyone, we didn't manage to get a court at Bedok Sports Hall My internet connection went down last night and the booking counter didn't open on time for me to do booking at Bishan Sports Hall and Chrislyn couldnt get a court at bedok from 8 to 9pm either. She has however booked two courts from 8pm to 10pm at Tampiness Central CC. She'll probably post again about it at a later date.

And to Lauti, yes, Chrislyn is one don't know about the rest

so sorry for the late responses, been over my head with work... thanks for your patience, & thanks Iwan for helping me with the replies

yup, didn't manage to get the courts at bedok sports hall this week; the courts at bedok, delta, and even clementi sports halls were all booked up within less than 1 minute of the online booking's opening anyway, after searching all over, the only place with 2courts available for 2hours in a row was Tampines Central CC. The details for our first game are as follows:

Date: 15 February 2008 (friday)
Time: 8-10pm
Venue: Tampines Central CC (866A Tampines Street 83, accessible by feeder bus 291 & 69 from Tampines Bus Interchange)
Courts: they only have 2 courts, so the whole hall will be ours. (tiled flooring though...)
*NOTE: Shuttles will be provided. Pls bring your own drinks.

P.S. Iwan had taught me everything i needed to know about booking the courts at the sports halls at 7am sharp, but i wasn't fast enough as it was my first time booking using the iBook system sorry everyone, sorry iwan, i messed it up will try to be faster the next time.

haha the infamous scramble for courts online. never used the system, and the only courts i ever got when booking in person were those at the earliest time slots in the morning

doesnt matter. maybe we'll be luckier next time

anyway if we miss in future, maybe chrislyn u could drop an sms to me. i walk pass siglap cc just about everyday, so booking the courts shouldnt be a problem. today however, found out that both courts there have been booked for ARCHERY(?????) on 15 feb.

hahaa... yup... it was very stressful, not easy to get 2 courts for 2 consecutive hours on my own. hope i'll have better luck with next friday's booking. yup, siglap cc's good, just played there today Thanks for your offer! that would be great! will let you know again next friday if i do miss the courts (again) ya, saw the diff activities under the court's booking list at tampines central cc too... they seem to use these courts for almost everything!
