if we could form a membership for this group, put in monthly contributions (say S$15.00). these funds will be used for court and birdie payments. members will also play a more active role to look out for courts that are already booked. then we will not have "not-show" cases happening

membership is a good idea for regulars... will be looking into that

about the courts we missed on tues, it's ok, it was an oversight on my part, so busy that i had forgotten about the arrangement... it's my responsibility to bear the costs as it's a mistake i made, so it ok

Its quite easy to get the courts there and the atmosphere there is really nice too

i think we'll be trying for courts in the east first as most of us stay in this area... bishan's pretty far for those without a car, but if we can't get courts, it may be an option for those who do not mind the travelling

shuttlekok, why dont u indicate ur available timeslots as well. otherwise it would be hard for us to plan sessions, if people started indicating their preferences only after the courts are booked

HI EVERYONE

Thanks for your really really prompt responses! Here's an update:
For weekdays, most are available 7pm-10.30pm.
For weekends, Saturdays majority okae with 12-230pm, sundays 12-4pm.

a few more pple to go... will wait for their responses but in general, should be more or less the same as this

have a great weekend ahead guys!

yes the atmosphere is great. not like tampines sh where people dont seem to realise others are playing badminton and just walk into and across the courts

. but its really far, and i dont drive

ok i know friday isnt a popular slot with most of us here who have responded. unfortunately these are the remaining available slots, as well as one on 20 mar 08, which i decided against booking yet. still, please do try to make it, and indicate if you are coming, hopefully, by tmr latest. if response if good (ie at least 10 per session), ill try to get the second court for the same time slot as well

shuttles... im not sure if ill be able to get any within these few days. and we'll definitely need nets since there wont be any provided. so, please do help me out by putting (nets) or (shuttles) beside your name if u plan to bring them, so that we wont end up without any

normally, the town council courts are much more readily available but this month, it seems they have many more activities than usual. hopefully they'll free up the slots by april so that ill be able to book courts on days which most people are free

by the way, the address is Blk 206 Bedok North St 1 S'pore 460206... or more simply the second storey of the building directly in front of bedok NLB
