    Hi,

Riza is here. I'm Indonesian but currently stay in Thailand. I enjoy watching badminton (especially INA players of course :) ). I do play a little badminton although it's far from good.

I like to play sports like basketball, swimming, soccer, squash, and badminton. Reading and singing are other hobbies as well.

    That's all I suppose, any question?? :D

First welcome to BC and please feel at home. Second a question from me, are you also a student as Smichz? We just had some long discussions about education in SEA, not ready to start another one. But if you're a student, please tell us your experience about education abroad ;)

Sawasdeekhrap to Samuel. Currently I'm working in Thailand in construction industry.

For Birdwood, I did use to study in Thailand. For me, it's an enjoyable experience. I really miss those times. Although it was not easy with tons of work load, but it's fun as well. I still had time to play quite a lot of sports and the social life was pretty good as well. Often we had many competitions at that time, both sports and some kind of talent show.

I studied in international university so languange is not a problem since we use English all the time. Although going out can become an issue because Thai languange is difficult for me. But this is not a big problem as well because Thai people or senior students are willing to help you.

The quality of the education it's good in my opinion. It is relevant and especially because it focuses to develop your character and the way to think.

Thailand is like my second home now as i often bring tour there
Are you staying in Bangkok or chiengmai
Most of Thai ppl having difficulty speaking english as their prime language learned in school is Thai.
They only learned English while in University.
Glad to know that you have no language barriers.

Currently I'm in Bangkok. I can speak a bit of basic Thai now. It's enough for traveling around. So where do you come from anyway?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I usually find the welcoming remarks boring, but getting to know our new members is more fun.

Hi Rizayosia, welcome to the forums! Singing is quite an unusual hobby. What kind of singing do you do?

The type of song that is suitable for me is classic and slow songs, such as Josh Groban and Frank Sinatra.

I didn't know you're so musical, you must be a very talented young fellow :)

I did try to learn singing for a little, but lacks basic musical knowledge so gave it up to spend more time with baddy. Don't like JG and FS because the voice for the first one a little to much pop singing and the second too much acting. Really like Andrea B, but not for his latest opera singing though. Neal Diamond's Christmas songs are good. On female side, Sara B. is not bad and like Carpenters a lot. Most time I listen to Chinese singers because the lyrics are better suited.

Smichz, I'm in Bangkok for working. Thanks for the welcome message.

Birdwood, Andrea Bocelli is great, but his voice is too high for me. Sara is one of the best for female opera. The Carpenters are one of my fave as well. Her voice is just so relaxing and makes you calm down.
