Welcome onboard aeida! :) Your name sounds like an Opera (Western not Chinese opera) title that I know, but forgotten the spelling.

Does it mean that you started playing badminton since you were 7. And have you continued and never stopped ever since? If so, you must be a terrific player at your varsity! :)

Really a devout fan of badminton for not even applying for a job until the MO is over! Are you showing up at Bt Jalil personally or stay home to watch the TV. Many of us BFers will be there, including myself on Sat and Sun. Hope you'll be there and hope also you'll eventually get the job you wanted most!
    :D

Welcome AirBlade, if only you could use your blade to fly to our part of the world to enjoy the sun here. Better still if you could visit the Malaysia Open SS now ongoing in Kuala Lumpur!

We used to have two well-known players from Wales playing tournaments out here, a MS and WS, but they have been missing for sometime now. Do you know their names? :)

Hey,aida..welcome to BC!!Hope that u'll enjoy ur stay here.Being short isn't really bad in this sport.Lots of players r less than 170cm i believe. My sister is 155cm tall,n she is still good in this sport.

If you had defeated the taller ones at school, you should have a place. But that's the history now. I take you're only a fan now? But don't worry, you'll be back for more baddy sometime in your life after you settle down to routine. Want to welcome you to BC and hope shyness is an excuse only for teenages :)

Playing sports not always for winning. There're friendships, fun, exercise, and a lot other things one can look for while playing, whether it's badminton, football, etc. Watching sports is another way to enjoy it if you can do it with some friends or even family members.

u're right... i always enjoy playing and watching sports...
but most of my friends (female friends) are not into sports as well as i do... so i usually end up watching it on my own.. i mean when i watch football or NBA, they would say it's boring coz they don't understand it...:D:D
