I really really want to give a thumb up to Malaysia line judge. They are so professional!! No favor on home player at all. They only favor the shuttle head! Perhaps CHN should learn from them and i really hope we can get this kind of "quality " in Beijing Olympic Games. Else is a shame for CHN & is a shame for Chinese all around the world..
its remind me to this slogan:"Setinggi mana piala dijulang, tinggi lagi martabat dijunjung" no matter what our country name and pride is the most important things rather than the medal that we win.. =X
I think the malaysian frustration has caused the swing of support for Chinese players to non-CHINESE players after China open 2007's bias line judging. A vanue where previously was second home to the Chinese players due to large ethnic Chinese population here, now turned against the Chinese. (seen in Tine vs ZL game) Chinese has definitely lost more than Championships.
n IMO it's cos of LYB's statement too.. the fans simply found it as too arrogant.. he was so sure that CHN can will all the medals.. as if look down on players from oth countries
Perhaps CHN should learn from them and i really hope we can get this kind of "quality " in Beijing Olympic Games. ------------------------ well well Perhaps KOR should learn from them and i really hope we can get this kind of "quality " in next week's match
I think BWF should have an award by the end of the year to elect out the MOST "cleanest" line judge. And the award is base on Country... This can also acts as and encouragement and perhaps bring up the standard and quality for line judge..What do u all think?
Kudos to Msia's line judges!!! Big thumbs up to them, as well as service judges. I'm glad to be Msian and SHAME to you, CHEENA's linesmen I didnt expect the line judges (during MSF) were so professional and unbiased. Msia BOLEH....!!!! MAJULAH Msia!!!!
Just wondering if anyone saw 1-3 close calls in MSF, which went against LHI. Could these calls be considered "controversial" and change the outcome if they were wrong I agree with xymaerts that Msia line judges did exceptional good job in MO 08 and agree with many of you that Chn should learn from Msia line judges and do "professional and unbiased" jobs in CO and OG. Msia line judge might have bent the other way around for one or two close calls to favor CY in MSSF game 1. There are always line calls being "too close to call". Unless linesmen bend over to favor other Nations' players every time they see a close call, controversial calls will stay, but we saw very few in MO 08. Indeed, thumb up to Msia line judges
Some of them were indeed close, but some sideline shots were out from perspective in tv replays. LHI didnt protest any of it, maybe he knows that too.
Thanks, very good point. Personally, I did not think they would change the outcome, but sometimes, they do affect players psychologically.
There was some strong drift in the stadium, LHI played a good attacking game but was too risky in such conditions. LCW's more cautious strategy to avoid the sidelines was proved to be the victorious.
The best MS final seen in a long time, which will sure bring the competition to much higher level this year along with matches in other depts except WD.
