mm my rachel did well against meow meow choo, not a bad fight although she lost..with quite a narrow margin though

Does she train in KL with the KLRC team?
I think John Moody does. I once saw him at the KLIA(airport) with his badminton bag. I recognised him caused I used to see the Kiwi team play every now and again when I was still in Auckland.
I guess she now uses KL as her stop over rather than spore as said in the article.

Three additions have been made to New Zealand's Olympic team on Thursday.
The New Zealand Olympic Committee has confirmed the nomination of badminton players John Moody, Renee Flavell and Craig Cooper.
Moody will compete in Beijing in the men's singles, with Flavell and Cooper teaming up in the mixed doubles.
Badminton New Zealand CEO Mike Kernaghan says they banked on those three being selected.
He says the selections can be inspirational to younger players in the sport to believe they can compete at the highest level.
Women's singles player Rachel Hindley has missed out.
However she says she didn't expect to get selected - her ranking's well outside the top 16 in the world.
