Hello everyone, I hope that you are all well, feeling great and all succeeding at your 2008 goals. I am a newbie to the forum and hope to get involved in your forum quite actively. I love all sports and have played badminton from an early age. My real passion is sports nutrition and how it can affect sporting individuals. Looking forward to being a member of your forum! Hi again to everyone! Thank you for such a warm welcome! I can start a nutrition thread in the general forum if you would like me to, and start from the basics of sports nutrition. As for cats... well... feed him less and exercise him more! Play with him to get off those pounds (or buy a cat walking leash!!) and feed him small amounts of something like Hills Veterinary Science. A fluid regime would be quite good. What do badminton players need? Which brand is the best (or doesn't it exist) Is there any difference for the colder climates compared to the non-airconditioned environments of humid subtropical/tropical areas. How about the drier climates of southern california?
XANGO Good For Badminton Good For Badminton too...xanthones in mangosteen. Among the powerful phytonutrients found in the rind of the mangosteen, xanthones stand alone in their impressive benefits. Scientific studies suggest xanthones may promote healthy bodily function. The whole mangosteen fruit, packed with naturally occurring xanthones, may help: maintain intestinal health* strengthen the immune system* neutralize free radicals* support cartilage and joint function* promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system* http://www.xango.com/learn/xanthones.html
I think this would be a good idea and be prepared to open yourself for questions. The latest findings to help athletes would be most welcome. Better still if this is directed more specifically to the badminton player! Please start as soon as possible.
Hi again!! There are many many great foods and supplements that are able to help with all of the above, although... to have them work effectively you need to implement a very clean and healthy diet that is right for YOUR body. No body is the same and this should always be reflected in what you consume. Loh: I will start a nutrition section in the Training forum. Nutrioutlet
