this reminds me of the match i had. I was smoothing out the feather and i got pin poked by a feather on my left middle finger tip. It keep on leaking blood slowly and stained the white shuttles. I made them keep on playing since we are only 5 more points to 21. I learned that blood is slow to clot when my heart is still beating like a rabbit.

and the dry winter weather makes it even worse; dry skin -> paper cut injury -> blood all over the grip :p

and wong8egg, you don't need a yonex racket to win ;) you use other brand to win a yonex. that's how i got my first yonex. the one that helped me.. it was a dunlop or was it a silver grey :)

i know i know.. i'm an old timer...

been hit in the neck with a racquet by my partner smashing behind me.

the worst is still my shoulder's rotator cuff injury, slowly being healed by physiotherapy.

sleepie_angel is clearly in desperate need of a wobble board for strengthening exercises...

My injuries courtesy of the court sport:
    concussion..
both ankles sprained countless times (even with the wobble board)
    pulled hamstrings.
    ruptured achilles!!!
sprained upper and lower back muscles..
    sprained wrist
frozen shoulder, sprains to rotator cuff muscles
    pulled groin muscles.
    pulled tricep...

    hehe - i'm a regular sicknote :D:D

altho for my sins i usually carry on playing when i'm injured.... or go back too soon

i reckon that's the biggest problem most of us have, the lure of the sport is just too great. if we gave our injuries enough time to heal properly, i'm sure our 'sicknotes' would not be as long, or look as horrendous.
