Ah, FKK our most famous 'underdog' player who pulled many great upset wins against champions.
Hes not to be underestimated for sure.
I most remember there was a Malaysian Grand Prix he won as champion against Rashid Sidek. That match he totally ditched his usual rally style play and go all offensive mode until Rashid (No.1) even gave him a thumbs up.
Dissapointingly, even though FKK won, The Star only reported it in a small caption no more than 10 lines.

He used to run a perodua showroom. I met him a couple of times at my workshop. I like him. He gave us quite a few of his business.

it's time to revive this thread...

nowadays a few players have followed Foo Kok Keong's legacy, and that is "Never Say Die" legacy.

Here are the list of players that do most of the legacy:

    Lin Dan
    Lee Chong Wei
    Koo Kean Keat
    Cai Yun
    Jung Jae Sung

and many more players that I dunno whom to desribe...

Yes, FKK is a great fighter in his playing days.

Too bad that he messed up his life in the business. Hopefully he gets a second chance.

This guy can really grind people to the floor. Bloody thick skin.. lol.

    A good playing partner.

but the slogan today is.. if you fail... get up and try again...

This suppose to be a FKK thread. How he grapple with his money should not be discuss here.

Let us discussed that the world would love to see another FKK coming to the fore.

Did not win any majors did not play dynamic badminton... but boy he has influence in how today top class players play ... particularly the diving defense.

Top players his day would not want to meet him. He would drain the last drop of blood from them.....

That was the 15 point scoring system, difficult to do so now.
