I watched Li Li play in last year's National Championships. She struggled to win her quarterfinal match against Zhang Beiwen and was eventually upset by Xing Aiying in the finals.

imho Xing Aiying has improved heaps and bounds and is ready to take over Li Li's position as Singapore's top women singles player.

Yes she has improved but not fast enough as her international competitors have improved faster. Just look at her recent SS performances and it would indicate she still has a long, long way to go!

Hmmm suddenly i miss LI LI. . Well i liked Xing Aiying.. she has grown alot and like what Loh mentioned earlier, she still have LOOooong Way to go. But with her dedication.. i'm sure one day she will create waves for Singapore. Maybe she will be the next "Wong Mew Choo" for Singapore.

More pressure on her. But then it is good for her to take up the leadership role.
