we beat jake and clinton by not playing the drive and smash game with them. we dropped alot and slowed the pace until we forced a short lift and just put it away with a smash or follow-up netkill.

you get into a power game against them and i think you'll be in trouble.

sounds like good advice me and my partner will deffinetly use that to our advantage, their our 1st match i had a close game with them before when i played with another guy but yeah we shall see what this holds. any more advice?

man this is going to be a change for me hahaha i guess we will see how that goes haha. what time does every play at tomorrow? i have play at 4:25

this is good advice, when Vining and I played them, they beat us by playing more of a flat game, when we had them playing up and down (clear and drop), that was when we were winning (especially when we set up Vining's boomstick at the back)

ah it was alright semi finalist in C singles i lost my 1st round match which i shouldnt have but yeah oh well im content with it.

I will go out on a limb and say that I had the harder smash this weekend.

( you can ask Mark Docksteader about that)

Evylngrynn and I didn't get so far in doubles.. so we ate sushi and watched a couple horror movies to ease our sorrows.

vining i can agree with you that you did, you were just cranking those shuttles and had a close game with mark too 21-23 that was pretty close id say. I didnt go far in doubles well singles wasnt the best for me either just semi finalist in C so nothig fancy there. are you playing any more tournaments minus strathmore or is that all for you for the season?

I plan to play my tourney, National Masters and likely EDBA ( my one and only plastic tourney all year0 . I'd also liek to play RJ open in Grande Prairie, but it'll depend on the timing and how many badminton credits I have left with my wife.

sounds like a plan then, only plastic tourny for you id be afraid what your smash is like with plastic then. well hope you have enough credits with your wife to play the RJ open. overall im happy with the AB series glenora tourny well singles anyways.

I was really happy to get what I did against Mark.

If I have the boomstick working like that and am able to get my leg strength back to a decent level where I my footwork is smoother, I'll be semi -dangerous again.
