Alright, I just got back into badminton a while back and my hair has grown a bit since I've last played... it actually gets into my eye along with sweat sometimes and it knocks me off game. I'm a guy too btw.

Head/Sweat bands don't help me as much since they aren't big enough. I can't wear bandannas at school since it's considered "gang related". And I'm not willing to cut my hair. Are there any other solutions to this that I haven't tried yet?

Maybe you could use hair-clips like some people in Japan do.
If that sounds stupid to you, you can use hairgel to get your hair out of the way and also to try to look cool.
Why arent you 'willing' to cut your hair anyway??

It covers up my big forehead lol
I don't think think I'll use gel since I sweat a lot and it'll probably drip off. Hair clips? I don't care how feminine that would seem, but I'm probably willing to try it. How man do those guys wear in their hair?

Oops, was thinking that he was refering to those bands that tennis players was. My apologies. Then I guess he would have to try using multiple hair clips or pins.

I think that hairclips are the best solution then. I saw like err.. 7 people wearing those in Japan. But hey, why not ? You'll be showing how courageous you are by wearing them :p.

What about those hairbands (think some people call them Alice bands?) that some pro footballers wear? (no, I don't mean head/sweat bands i.e. towelling stuff).

Like David Beckham wore when he had long hair:

    2 options.
    1) Lleyton Hewitt (backward cap)
    2) Michael Jorden (no hair, no fuss)

Maybe you could just cut a LITTLE, just a LITTLE of your hair, so that it's not in your way.

That's a head-band, not a bandana. Anyway, he mentionned that bandanas are banned at his school because they consider it 'gang-related'.

Here's what a bandana looks like..

I have long hair (down to my shoulders or so) and those hairbands are the absolute best solution. I use one of those even though I always have a ponytail when I play. Hairpins are hard to use because they tend to slip during the game.

Whatever you do, don't cut your hair! Let it grow 'till it reaches the ground :D
