Hey guys, I'm currently doing a project (bah) simulating a badminton racket. I've been trying to look for the official regulations for the racket sizes (shaft length and etc) but couldn't find them. Was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, thanks
Here: Head length: Under 290mm Head width: Under 230mm Overall length of racquet ( from top to bottom ): Under 680mm. There are no rules on the racquet weight however.
Yeah, couldn't find it on IBF website, the rules there didnt mention it. But thanks jhirata. I'm guessing there isn't a regulation on shaft length/radius? Cause that might be the part i might have to do a sensitivity study of
Would you be breaking the rules if you had grip hanging off your racket that caused the racket to extend over 680mm?
Make a quadratic / square racket head to maximize the allowed size and gain a bigger sweetspot! Another fantasy question: What about excessive using lead tapes would exceed the maximal head length or head width?
