    China and Indonesia top the list with 14 each;
    Code:
    China 14
    Indonesien 14
    Dänemark 10
    Korea 3
    Malaysia 3
    England 2
    Indien 2
    England/USA 1
    Indonesien/Niederlande 1
but if you're to include Mia Audina then INA should have 15 against China's 14.

interestingly LCW was left out because of the doping issue, otherwise guess who is going to be left out of the list?

Interesting enough that Alan in the list, what his impact then except jackpot lucky in '92, then why JXP not included too? JXP even better performance and draw in '00. Funny...

So, i don't understand why Saina is in, what make her greater than LXR, WYH, GZC, even th like WC, ZM or GRN?

And why LJ, HJ, or XGB left out...

It is always subject to controversy with a list for the all time’s great irrespective of whoever complied and whatever criteria adopted for the list.

I’ve took the liberty to ‘translate’ your post for someone not that familiar with initials.

    Alan – Alan Kusuma (INA)
    JXP – Ji XinPeng (CHN)
    LXR - Li Xuerui (CHN)
    WYH - Wang Yihan (CHN)
GZC - Gong Zhi Chao (CHN)
    WC - Wang Chen (CHN/HK)
    ZM - Zhou Mi (CHN/HK)
    GRN - Gong Ruina (CHN)
    HJ - Han Jian (CHN)
    XGB - Xiong Guobao (CHN)
    LJ - ??

may be you can help to fill in the gap (??).

I don`t agree with Carsten Mogensen being ranked better than Hendra Setiawan and Lee Yong Dae, in fact I don`t think he should be on the list at all!

They must be using really skewed parameters here to come to these conclusions! Like man, people may disagree over some players who are broadly equal, but how can you ever come with a list this insane!

    Anomalies:
    1. Zhao Yunlei
How many players in history have been the reigning WR1, Olympic Champion and World Champion in BOTH WD and XD Simultaneously? You can't even count the number of major titles she has won. The first women in history to achieve TWO GOLD in single OLYMPICS! Hell, there are only 3 players who have achieved 3 Golds in any number of Olympics - She, Lin Dan, Zhang Ning.

    2. Saina Nehwal
Can she be in the top 50? Absolutely possible. But today, if she is in top 50, but LXR and Wang Yihan are not, that is a serious crime. Even she will tell you that the other two have been better than her. I don't even know what kind of metric she would surpass LXR in.
World Ranking- LXR has been WR1 for more than 2 years now, while Saina has reached WR2 for some weeks.
    Olympics - Gold vs Bronze
World Championship - 2 silver vs nada
Asian Games - 2 Silver vs 1 Bronze

I can't even count. Half of the names in this list shouldn't be there at all.

why are Ge Fei / Gu Jun and Fu/Cai lumped into one while Ricky/Rexy are separated?

and how can Ge/Gu who has a 4 years winning streak including 2 olympic golds be ranked so low?

how can there be mention of Li Yongbo without his partner Tian Bingyi?

how can there be no mention of Gong Zhichao who has achieve much more than most of the players in the list?

how can there be mention of Li Lingwei without Han Aiping?

and technically, Tony Gunawan is Indonesia/USA.

and honestly, Lee Chong Wei should be in the list. very close to the top. and then kick Mogensen out to make space.
